DECATUR - Olleen Rhodes Paselk, 94 of Decatur died 10:00 p.m. Tuesday May 17, 2011 at Lincoln Manor Nursing Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 am. Friday May 20th at Grace United Methodist Church (Fireside Room), with Rev. Danny Cox officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service at the church. Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery Long Creek. Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church 901 N. Main, Decatur, IL. 62521. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Paselk was born January 20, 1917 in Lake City, Illinois daughter of David and Pearl Kirkendoll Condon. She graduated from Sullivan High School Class of 1934. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, George Donald Paselk of Rockford, MI., son, Jon C. (Janis) Rhodes of Decatur, grandchildren, Lindsey Rhodes of Chicago, Bradley E. (Christine) Rhodes of Decatur, great grandchildren, Hailey and Emmett Rhodes, step-children, Steven Paselk of CA., Gary Paselk of TX., Linda Russel, Cheryl Shapiro of MI., step-grandchildren, Stephanie, Tamra, Joshua, Bradley Paselk, Randi, Daniel, Michael, Seth Shapiro, 7 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Emmett B. Rhodes, 2 sons, 1 brother and 3 sisters. Mrs. Olleen Rhodes Paselk was a great wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.
