Paul Joseph Moore Sr.

MOUNT PULASKI - Retired Seabee, Paul Joseph Moore, Sr., passed away surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, December 29th, 2011 at the age of 69. He was born in Mt. Pulaski, IL where he lived until he joined the US Navy. He faithfully served his Country for 24 years and retired as a UTCS in Pensacola, Fl. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Evelena Mehrens Rowe and Joseph Yustler; four brothers, Melvin (Jan) Moore, Jr., John Henry Moore, Wendell Rowe, Walter Scott Rowe and one sister, Rosemary Josephine Rowe. He is survived by his children, Kimberlee Versiga, Jamie Moore and Paul Joseph Moore, Jr.; grandchildren Keith Domen, KeLeigh Versiga, Nicole Ross and Donna Moore; three brothers, Richard Melvin (Sally) Moore, David Darwin Moore and Thomas Allen Moore; three sisters, Rose Darline Landers, twin, Pauline Joyce (Ed) Tooley and Mary Martha (Dale) Hale, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family is grateful to all the friends, neighbors and family who have been so loving and caring during this difficult time. Paul will be sorely missed by all who knew him. To celebrate Paul's life, the family will receive friends, at 12:00 Noon, Friday, January 6, 2012 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road in Pensacola.
