Sorry for your loss of Polly.
Your memories will help you through this difficult time. I remember seeing her often at Washington School. She was so sunshiny! Always a smile and a helpful hand.

To the Wright-Gill family:
the picture was taken in autumn of 1980 when Polly was a sophomore in high-school. I remember her being very cheerful and open-hearted. She was the kind of person who - through her kindness and friendliness - made it easy for someone in a foreign country to feel comfortable. Polly wrote this phrase into my high-school year-book which describes her character so well: “Do it like the sun-clock does and only count the sunny hours.” It is so sad to know that she is gone and my thoughts are with her family during this difficult time. May the pain be great at present, Polly’s love will continue to warm the hearts of her family and friends long after the tears over her loss have dried.

Doc, I cant imagine what a struggle this must be for you and your family. I always had the impression that Mrs. Gill gave you the strength and drive to inspire so many of us around the community, state, and even nation. This is profoundly unfair and tragic and I am so very sorry for your loss.

To David Gill and family. The loss of Polly must be devastating to you all. Although I didn't know her well, I felt she exuded a caring and loving sweetness. I'm sure your memories of her and the good times you had will carry you through many of life's difficult times. She was very brave and so lucky to have a family like you during her lifetime.
