Ronald May Obituary

Ronald David May, 75 years old passed away on December 14th, 2023. He and his beloved wife of 47 years recently moved to South Carolina. He will be cremated, and his ashes will go home with his wife, Betty A. May. There will not be any services at this time.

Ronald was born April 24th, 1948, in Decatur Illinois. He was a son of M. Pauline Kratzner (Johnson) and Albert May.

Ronald worked for Sunbeam bread, had his own Pepperidge Farm franchise and retired from Decatur Public Schools.

Ronald married Betty Ann May (the love of his life) on September 28th, 1976. He adopted Betty's son and changed his name to Ronald Dale May.

Surviving: Ronald Dale May (wife Cindy) grandchildren JC and Annabella. Also, granddaughter Brianna Leigh May.

Ron had two children with his previous wife. They are son Shawn Allen May (wife Sabrina.) Grandson Nicholas May. Also, son David Chance May, grandsons Justin and Jacob May. The three boys were raised together.

Ron's parents, siblings and granddaughter Jessica Tyson pre- deceased him.

Ron loved his animals so much and Chico, Connor and Princess will miss him.
