LAKE MARY, Florida - Timothy Edward Dady Sr., 73, died September 1, 2023, after a short battle with cancer.
Tim was born August 30, 1950, in Decatur, IL, the fourth child of Herbert and Harriett (Bunner) Dady. He married Maureen Kay Moran October 1, 1968, and they moved to Florida in 1988.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 46 years, Kay (2014); his two sons: Brian Edward (1969) and Timothy Edward, Jr. (2023); and his sister, Judy (Ron) Leschewski. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Alana and Larry Wagner; daughter-in-law, Hope Dady; grandchildren: Alyssa Rohloff, Austin Wagner, Isabella Dady, Nicholas Dady; his sister, Jean Dady; his brother, Herbert (Susan) Dady; two nieces: Adrienne Hogan and Annette Taylor; one nephew, Kevin Dady; and six great-nieces.
Tim was family centered with a kind heart. An encounter with him would always leave a smile on your face. He was a true jack-of-all trades, handyman, entrepreneur, collector of antiques and Coca Cola memorabilia. The treasure seeking continued into his retirement years, selling treasures on E-Bay, metal detecting and scrapping. He was well known for never passing up on a good burger.
