ARTHUR - Titus Jess, infant son of Nelson Ray and Erma M. Jess was stillborn at 11:37 P.M. on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur, IL. A private graveside service was held at the Yoder Cemetery in Arthur, IL on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, Bishop Omer Otto officiated. The Edwards Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. Titus is survived by his parents, Nelson Ray and Erma M. (Miller) Jess of Arthur, IL; three siblings, Luke Aaron Jess, Caleb Andrew Jess and Sarah Jean Jess; paternal grandparents, Omer E. and Susannna Marie (Gingerich) Jess of Arthur, IL; maternal grandmother, Clara S. (Kauffman) Miller of Arthur, IL; paternal great-grandmothers, Sovilla Jess and Sovilla Gingerich both of Arthur, IL; maternal great-grandparents, Steve and Katie Kauffman of Arthur, IL and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Melvin M. Miller, his paternal great-grandfathers, Ervin L. Jess and Ben W. Gingerich, maternal great-grandparents Menno J. and Sarah (Burkholdrer) Miller, an uncle, Marvin Benjamin Jess and three stillborn cousins, Timothy M.
