Dear Maris and Family,
I have been out of town and just heard the painful and shocking news about Adam. Our hearts and prayers are with you....we wish we could do something to help you. I lost my father to suicide when I was two years old and I understand somewhat the pain you are feeling. May G-d grant you cherished memories, peace and healing.

Dear Cousin Maris,
Drew, Chloe and I got home from NYC yesterday and Mom (Anita) told me the tragic news. You were kind enough to invite me to Adam's Bar Mitzvah when I was new to Florida; you knew the best pre-schools and the best neighborhoods in Hollywood.. so I followed your advice and lived there and Drew went to pre-school there. We met for lunch and you listened to me rant and ramble as my life was going to radically change...and most of all we all celebrated at Shep and Bernita's at Passover...the last time we saw Adam. I'm a full-time stand-up comedian, and it wouldn't have been without Adam's help. He pushed me to get on stage for the first time, he helped me write jokes, he drove me to my first open mic nights, and he watched my sets. He also got me into musical parody by way of writing songs about our dorm mates. Adam holds a special place in my heart and many of our dorm mates, with whom he shared his sense of humor and kindness. My condolences to his family. I'm livin' the dream, Adam!

Dear Maris and Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Adam was a special person to me and everyone else who had the opportunity to know him. He was such a caring and thoughtful person, and his sense of humor was unmatched. He had the ability to slip things by you at the most appropriate times. I met Adam during the summer of 1997 at the University of Florida and we grew up together as a family. He was one of my closest friends and is missed very much. I met Adam my freshman year at UF. We connected immediately and shared the same sense of humor. I always saw something different in him and wanted to be around him. We shared a lot of laughs together. This is an unbelievable loss. My thoughts are continuously with your family.

Silverman Family,
I first met Adam at UF in 1997 when we were Freshman. We lived on the same dorm floor and quickly became good friends. I will always cherish the fond memories we had, from playing sports to going on two spring breaks together to studying and just hanging out. Adam always had a good spirit about him and a great sense of humor. When I look back at my years in college Adam fills some great memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the Silverman Family-
Adam was like a brother to me, and his loss breaks my heart. My thoughts are with you, his family, and those close to you during these hard times. I remember Adam for his kindness, and his huge heart. He was very special to me, and he taught me many things during his short time on this earth. Adam was the best friend a guy could ever have. He would do anything for a friend and was always there when I needed him. A part of me is now missing. I will never forget all the times we had together. We could go out or just sit at my apartment and talk for hours. Having him a part of my life has made me a better person. Adam will always be remember as a fun loving, kind and good natured person. I fondly remember him from his early years as a baseball player on the teams I coached thru his high school days with my son.
