Dear Fernandez Family,
Please accept my most heartfelt condolences and prayers. Whenever I think of Albert I always break out into a huge smile because I'll dearly remember a funny thing he said, some nutty thing he was doing, or some crazy fun times we all had. Whether it was at Hobie Beach, on the sailboat, watching football and doing the wave, in the bar, at all of our homes just hanging out, Albert was the life of the party and just a great friend.
He had a good heart, was a really good listener, and cared deeply about his friends and family. One of the lovliest things that I always admired about Al was how he absolutely adored and doted on his Mom.
I will miss you Dear Friend, you were like a brother to me. Now you can make the Angels laugh in Heaven. Special prayers and best thoughts for my Carolina.
With Love,
Debbie Hayes

During this sad time I offer all my heartfelt condolences to the Fernandez family. I will always remember Albert for being so warm and easy to talk to - I was so shy but he was one of my brother's friends that made me feel a part of the group. I will miss his smile and scratchy voice, and am so grateful to him for giving me some of the happiest memories in life.
God Bless,

God bless Albert. I loved him like a brother.
I met this Cuban kid at Silver Bluff Elementary, and we became good friends at Shenandoah Junior High, and Gables High.
Albert was very popular in school, with a very large circle of friends. He was very outgoing and very funny, not to mention quite handsome. He certainly got the attention of the ladies.
In our younger days, we liked to waterski, go to the Orange Bowl for Dolphins and UM games, or take the occasional road trip to Daytona. He was unstoppable.
Albert loved his son Anthony, and his family, and he was proud of his Cuban heritage. I discovered arroz con pollo and yuca prepared by his mom, Carmen.
Such a young man's life cut short is a trajedy, but Albert left us with the memory of his big smile and his wonderfully loud laughter.
