Andrew Iterian Obituary

ITERIAN ANDREW MICHAEL Andrew was born on February 17, 1987, at Baptist Hospital in Miami. He was raised in Miami Springs alongside his sisters, Cristina and Stephanie by his loving parents, Isabel and Carlos. His love for the outdoors was remarkable and in spite of his serious congenital heart disease, Andrew had become quite an outdoorsman. He was always ready and willing to enjoy the outdoors even when his health was not cooperating. As he recently lay in his hospital bed, Andrew was already thinking and planning his next outing. His courage and positive disposition will continue to be an inspiration to all who knew him. His kind, warm smile and innocent confidence will leave a lasting memory in our minds. The Good Lord blessed all who knew him with his presence for sixteen years and, as such, became much richer for it. He touched the hearts of many. Andrew is in a better place now. May God grant him the serenity he deserves and may he enjoy eternal life in the greatest of the outdoors. Andrew passed away at home alongside his family on Sunday, July 6, 2003. He is survived by his parents, Carlos and Isabel; his sisters, Cristina and Stephanie; great grandmother, Consuelo Figueroa; grandparents, Tomas and Luz Maria Menendez, and Delia Interian; his aunt and uncle, Martha Alina and Fernando Figueroa; his many great aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to: Jackson Memorial Foundation "In memory of Andrew M. Andrew, although your courage has inspired all who've heard your story, we are all guilty of being selfish in saying we wish you were still here with us. Your parents raised an amazing young man and now you have found eternal peace with the Lord. It's not easy for them right now but we hope they will find comfort in knowing how many hearts you've touched. May you always smile upon your sisters whose love for you is obvious from afar. We'll look for you fishing from the clouds . . .

Love always,
Tu Primita and Yovan

Andrew:
Although your presence will be greatly missed by many, you will forever remain in our thoughts, our prayers and our hearts. Your courage, your determination and your love have been an inspiration to me. I will miss you very much. My only comfort is knowing that you are watching over all of us and that one day, we will see each other again.
Love, Michi

Although we didn't see each other much, you always made me feel warm and a part of your family. You are a very special young man, who brought joy to many lives.
Andrew, it hurts not to have you here with us, but at the same time you are blessed to be in heaven.

Andrew, you will never be far from my thoughts and will always be in my heart. As I go through life I will be a better person for having known you.God called you to his side before we could keep our dinner date. There will be many bar-b-ques, all of them in your honor. When we find ourselves outdoors you will be there, watching over us.After all, your an angel now, as you were before. No matter where I find myself near or far your smile, your wit, your love, and courage will be with me as a guiding force, as it guides everyone whose life you touched.Little buddy good hunting good fishing. We'll see each other some day
