Dearest Audrey, you were the sister I never had. I can't begin to express how much I will miss your sweet nature, your brilliant smile,lilting laughter and comforting presence. You were my friend from the instant that we met at FSU's Alumni Village. For over 50 years we shared our lives, the good and the bad. You were amazing in your gift for life and I so admired your strength in the worst of times. Well, my remarkable lady, you are now at rest and those of us who loved you will carry a piece of you with us forever.

Audrey was my friend, my mentor. She was always there for me, taught me so much about nursing, patient care, always being compassionate. We had the very best of times working together with the plastic surgeons, she always had a smile and a good word for everyone. I loved her and will miss her beyond words.

I am so sorry to hear of Audrey's passing. I went to MHS with her, and always thought fondly of her. How wonderful it must have been for her to have been holding her son's loving hand as she left this world, and be greeted by her other son in the next. My Condolences.

Heaven has a new angel in Audrey. I often smile remembering all the fun times we shared with Bucky, Danny and the boys. You'll now join Scott and my Danny in that wonderful place. We had some really good times and Audrey was such a support and anchor for us. Already knowing of her generosity, I wasn't surprised but admiring when Audrey gave her darling little sister,Donna her entire first week's pay(summer job) to buy school clothes. Love you, Audrey, and will miss you.

My heart goes out to Bucky, Chris, and all of those who loved Audrey. My first memory of Audrey goes back to Citrus Grove Jr. High. When I arrived in Miami from a small town in Georgia in January of 7th grade scared to death, she extended her heart and hand in friendship leaving me with memories that last until today. She was one of the kindest people I have ever known. Heaven became a better place on June 9. She will be waiting for all of us with her always open and loving heart.

Audry,You will be greatly missed.Truly one of the most considerate and loving persons I have ever known. I remember, as a med student, you working with Ralph Millard. You kept everyone sane.

I did not know Audrey but reading her obituary explains exactly why she became a nurse. She was apparently filled with love and a caring personality. My condolences to her family and all her friends.

Bucky called last night and we talked about Audrey and our lives together at MHS. I was happy to hear of her death in this way, for it allowed us to talk of both the good and happy times we all had together.I have lost a part of my life with the death of Audrey ,but will always remember how uplifting I became when she simply said hello Jim. Audrey just had this southern charm that made you feel good at that moment in time. I hope to see you again Audrey and please just say hello Jim and then I will be OK.
