AUDREY DAVIS CARLTON

Dearest Audrey, you were the sister I never had. I can't begin to express how much I will miss your sweet nature, your brilliant smile,lilting laughter and comforting presence. You were my friend from the instant that we met at FSU's Alumni Village. For over 50 years we shared our lives, the good and the bad. You were amazing in your gift for life and I so admired your strength in the worst of times. Well, my remarkable lady, you are now at rest and those of us who loved you will carry...

Audrey was my friend, my mentor. She was always there for me, taught me so much about nursing, patient care, always being compassionate. We had the very best of times working together with the plastic surgeons, she always had a smile and a good word for everyone. I loved her and will miss her beyond words.

I am so sorry to hear of Audrey's passing. I went to MHS with her, and always thought fondly of her. How wonderful it must have been for her to have been holding her son's loving hand as she left this world, and be greeted by her other son in the next. My Condolences.

Heaven has a new angel in Audrey. I often smile remembering all the fun times we shared with Bucky, Danny and the boys. You'll now join Scott and my Danny in that wonderful place.
