Longtime companion to Cathy Brown, and loyal friend to many here at home and in the middle Keys, Florida. Brian died during a boating accident on July 5, 2014 doing what he loved, running his own boat rental business in Coco Plum, Marathon Key, Florida, in route to assist a customer in the bay. Brian's family wish to thank his KEYS community for their friendship while he was in their care these past 7 years. There Brian was known for his sense of humor, storytelling and antidotes. Brian was a proud member of the NRA, played and enjoyed pick up hockey with his NE buddies, loved fishing/boating in the ocean waters. These memories will help us all keep him in our hearts. He is more than missed by his family and friends, but we will always have great memories to hold onto. Rest in Peace. I knew Brian from renting boats from him. I was happy to hear that he started his own business. I saw him in May and he seemed very happy, and as usual, full of life. My wife and I liked him a lot. I am very sorry to hear this.
