The finest doctor I've ever known. I started seeing Dr. James when I was 14 years old. He guided me through some tough times both medically and through my young adulthood. Living right next to the office, he always thought I was too thin in my younger years, he would have me swing into the office before I went to work for coffee and a pastry. In my later years, as my weight increased, I remember him saying you're not that young anymore little bit - no more donuts for you. He was like a father to me.

To the James family members,
I Just went by the office Monday to find it closed and had that feeling of sorrow.I came home and found out what happened on the web.
Your father was my Doctor for over 40 years. One of my longest relationships in my life.He always had time to see me. Doc was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed.
I will always remember thanking Doc for his expertise and he would say "I'm just a old country Doctor". Sincerely,

Your Father was a wonderful man and Dr. Me and my family loved him very much. He was always there for all of us as a DR and most of all a true friend. He will be in our thoughts and prayers always.
May God help you handle your loss of your loved one. He sure was one of a kind.
Well he's with Dr Ed and Martha now. I'm sure she's keeping both of them in line even in heaven.

Dear Julie and Milo,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I know how hard it is to loose such a great man. Our fathers were my favorites. The one thing I like to remember of our Dad's, they lived life to the fullest. I admire that of them. Sincerely, Sharon Carlson

Dr. Jim was a tremendous doctor and loyal friend to our family for 37 years. He treated our many ills and also helped correct an erractic golf swing or two. He loved his family and I can still see the twinkle in his eye as he relayed the most recent incident his Mother did during her later years of life. He will be missed by all his family members and many many friends. God Speed Jim.

Oh how I will miss Dr. Jimmy. He was ALWAYS there when I needed him & I even forgave him for throwing me out of the office one time (found out I had Measles). He was one of a kind & I LOVED him & will MISS him something terrible. I know he's up there with Ed & their Mother, so he's happy. My love goes out to Julie & ALL the family.
(I live in NC now, but always went to see him when I was back in FL. When I told him I was moving here, he advised he had "flown" into here once. So I always felt a little piece of him was up here on the golf course.)

Dear Julie,
It is with tremendous sadness that we received the news of your father's passing. Dr. James was so wonderful in so many ways. He was always there for Don and I, with that tremendous smile and complete interest. Dr. James was like a diamond, multi-faceted.
Words are always difficult at a time like this, but may you find comfort knowing that your father is at peace. You and Dr. James will be in our prayers. He will be missed.

Doctor James (Jimmy) as he liked to be called, but I called him Doc.
Doc., was very special and dear to my heart. He became my friend 38 years ago and I will miss his presence, because I could call on him any time and he was always there.
It's never goodbye because if it is God's will, we will all see him again.
I would like to extend my condolences to Julie and Milo, your dad would often say how proud he was of you both and how much he loved you.
To the entire James Family, I would like to express my deepest sympathy and I pray that God continues to hold you all in the palm of His hand. This is my prayer.
God Bless!!
