CHARLOTTE VOGEL CHESTER
Charlotte Vogel Chester, passed away February 20, 2009. Born in New York to Pauline and Morris Cohen. She was a graduate of Hunter High School and CCNY. Charlotte came to South Florida in 1953. She had always loved the challenges of business, first in the photographic and electronic distribution business, then as a successful real estate
entrepreneur. She loved working in her garden, dining out, enjoying the theatre, and traveling. Charlotte was also involved in the community, active at Temple Beth Sholom, and Opti-Mrs, always
eager to help those around her. She was loved and admired by those who knew her. Charlotte had a kind word and a joke at all times, in order to make those around her happy. Her engaging bright smile warmed the room when she entered it! The center of her world was her family. She is survived by her daughter Susan Vogel, her son and daughter in law, Mark and Sara Vogel, her brother and sister in law, Jack and Donna Cohen, her cherished grandchildren, Pamela , Michael, and Leora, and many nieces and nephews. She remains forever in our hearts.
