I just found out early this year of Chris's passing..he and I worked together at Atlantic ems together in ft Lauderdale..for 2 years. .he was by far the best partner I ever worked with and my dear friend..and one of the best human beings I've ever known..I am completely heartbroken..I have made a memorial in his honour. .if anyone would like a copy you can find me on Facebook under sheila burrell George..r I p my dear friend and guardian angle

I can only remember good things said about Chris - when he lived at Maybury, he was so kind and caring to all of the residents... When he appeared at Gussie's birthday party - that was the highlight for her. Gussie always sang his praises and said for all to hear that "he was a good man" - there can be no higher praise. My thoughts are with the family.

I was so shocked to read this in my condo newsletter. I was Chris' neighbor for many years before moving North and was just talking about him the other day. He was such a wonderful person and I am so sorry he was taken away from his loved ones too soon. My thoughts are with you.

My prayers go out for you and your family. I can imagine no greater pain than losing a child. May your faith guide you through your grief. I think how incredible it is that some men accomplish more in a shortened life than many men accomplish in their entire life. Chris was one of those men. May God bless your family.

My heart goes out to you. I have met chris numerous times when he hung out with my nephew Ray. They came to visit me in NY after boot camp, and he was always as a member of the family. He is a great kid. We were both at the WTC but I guess we were to busy to even know. He will always have my respect.

Erik and the rest of the Zargo family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Chris and I were friends back in the late 80's in Bridgeport. He always watched out for me when we hung out or went to parties, like a big brother. We wrote often during the time he was in Desert Storm. I saved every letter and come across them often. He truly was a great guy and I hope these words get you through this very difficult time. To the entire Zargo family, I am so sorry for your loss. When I worked at Pathmark, I took Chris' address from Lenny and we wrote each other a few times while he was in Kuwait during the Gulf War. I just came across some of those letters last week when I was moving some cartons. I only met Chris a few times after he returned from the war, but always held him in high regard for his service to his country. After reading how he continued his service as a First Responder in Florida and how he drove to Ground Zero to assist in the aftermath of the September 11th attacks, I realize how proud you must all be...he was a true patriot. Heaven is certainly a better place with Chris there. My family's thoughts and prayers are with you.
