Dr. Gair was my pediatrician when I was growing up. I remember him as a very caring person. I remember him telling my parents to bring me right in at 9pm when I had a very bad ingrown toenail one night. A really good man. R. I. P.

Dr. Gair what a kind soul...I'm very privileged to have worked with you at Baptist Pedi ER. You were a gentleman and a wonderful doctor. All your patients and coworkers respected you and love you. You were an inspiration to many. Thank you for our time together and sharing many moments including your 80th bday, dancing at the ER parties and your retirement party. What a beautiful person. My condolences to the Gair Family

He was my only doctor until I turned 18. Then I was fortunate enough to work alongside him as an RN at Baptist. There just aren't pediatricians like him anymore. He will me missed greatly and I offer my sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

Dr. Gair was an ethical and professional role model for our pediatric medicine. I had the pleassure to work with him, he loved his patients and co- workers. He had the best and unique suture techniques. His famous bagles for his nurses on week ends, his wonderful stories and traveling trips with his wife and as a doctor will be in my heart forever. I can write a book about his expertize on pediatric medicine bedside care patient care. He left a wonferful legacy to his fellow physicians: He was an extraordinary human being, very compassionate and dedicated physician. As a nurse, I was very proud to be one of her students as co- worker. My condolences to his family. He will always will be remember in my heart.

Dr. Gair was such a wonderful doctor to my daughters, Miriam & Melissa. He was always a source of strength for me and allayed my fears and trepidations through their childhood illnesses. To this day, I make references to adults about the poster in his office entitled, "Children Learn What They Live". Rest in peace Great One.

My son Matthew is 38 now but I will never forget Doctor Gair and how he took care of Matthew when he was a little one. His lovely wife Rita was also in his office and a nurse called Margaret who would come up to Miami from the Keys. The years have flown by but sometimes someone is so special that you never forget them and Doctor David Gair was one of those people. My condolences to Rita his lovely wife and to all of his family.

So sorry to hear of this great loss...Dr. Gair delivered me almost 65 years ago as a resident and then I was his patient until I married. Both my children were his patients until he closed his practice. I enjoyed running into him and Mrs. Gair in the neighborhood. Dr. Gair-say hi to my folks up there!

Dr. Gair was one of my first friends as he was my pediatrician from birth until adulthood. My love for this man is immeasurable and always will be. In addition to being my pediatrician, he and his family were close friends of my family. We are all deeply saddened by his passing but feel fortunate to have had him in our lives. May his memory be for a blessing.
