Diane Eisenberg Obituary
September 25, 1935 - July 11, 2021
Miami Beach , Florida - Diane Eisenberg, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away July 11th, 2021. She is survived by Edward Eisenberg, her loving husband of 67 years; 4 devoted children, Jolie Cummings (Paul), Bruce Eisenberg, Tammi Silver (David), and Rod Eisenberg; her brother Allen Savitz (Lucille); her sister-in-law Phyllis Axelrod (Ivan); her 9 grandchildren, Andrew Cummings (Samantha), Scott Cummings, Joanna Silver (Joshua), Laura Silver, Stephanie Silver, Adam Eisenberg, Julian Eisenberg, Jake Eisenberg, and Sophia Eisenberg; and her 2 great-grandchildren Zoe and Cameron Cummings.
In 1953, Edward laid eyes on Diane at a University of Miami fraternity party; a year later, they were married and began raising their 4 wonderful children together. Besides excelling in her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother/great-grandmother, Diane also ran a successful real estate business, continuing to work until the time of her death. In her spare time, Diane enjoyed traveling, enjoying mountain views at their second home in Beech Mountain, North Carolina, patronizing the Miami arts scene, contributing to many charitable organizations, and socializing with friends. Diane was an original in all senses of the word; she was a fashionista for the ages; an avid reader and concert-goer; a maven of business; and a true matriarch, whose advice will continue her legacy in the hearts of her loving family.
She loved her family more than anything in the world, and will be dearly missed by all.
Funeral services will be privately held for Diane's family Tuesday, July 13th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Nebo Cemetery.
