Don Gaby is was my boss from 1972 until his retirement in 1984 from
the National Hurricane
Center. He was a kind but driven boss who appreciated his employees. He was passionate about a lot of things especially getting people to stop smoking. He would give someone who stopped morning some money and a bottle of their favorite whisky! He was generous with his time and loved researching
events such as the history of the Miami River.
