There will be an empty, unfillable space on earth and in our hearts with the loss Dorothy. I so loved seeing her when ever our paths crossed. Vivacious, brilliant, fearless, timeless woman. An inspiration to all she met. My life is better for having known her. The world is better for the legacy she leaves in her beautiful children and grandchildren. May God wrap you in his loving arms and comfort you during this very sad time.

The first picture which comes to mind is that terrific energetic smile! I was fortunate to have taught all four of Dorothy's children. They were all students to be proud of with parents to envy. Fran & I will miss not only Dorothy's smile but her constant positive attitude and support...

Your memory, and the life lessons I've learned from you, will live on each and every day in how I live my life... Unconditional love of family and friends, generosity and caring for all mankind, well thought advice and recommendations on living life in a positive, constructive, and loving manner, zest for living a full life, the ability to light up a room' and make every person feel special, worldwide travel and adventure, the most remarkable mother, grandmother, relative, friend, person, and a heart of gold, showing compassion, love, and peace. CUDOS to a life very well lived! You have been taken from all of us too soon, but your impact on our lives will live on forever. And finally, you were my Mother's closest friend for so many years, and upon her passing you immediately referred to me as your 5th child... This always meant the world to me.. So, as I bid your farewell, I know that you are in good hands, as Carol Mae is awaiting you with open arms, as well as numerous dear family and friends. To Larry, David, Melanie, Mark, Beth, Jenny, Jeff, Ruth, Ronnie, all the grandchildren, family, and friends, we've learned a lot from Dorothy, and it's now up to us to keep her spirit alive. Dorothy was the fabric that weaved all of our lives together... Let's continue to enhance what she managed to accomplish for all of us!
