EDITH BAIM Obituary

BAIM EDITH SCHULSON , 94, of Aventura and Chicago passed away peacefully on June 3, 2011. She lived a long and wonderful life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving children Sanford and George Baim, daughter-in-law Cathy, grandchildren Matteah and Airelle, nephews Gary and Jeff Balaban. Edith was the daughter of Bessie and Morris Balaban, brother and sister of Abe Balaban and Reva Koral of Los Angeles. She was the widow of Alexander Baim and Arthur Schulson both of Chicago. Edith was a devoted wife and mother born is San Antonio, Texas then moved to Chicago with her parents. She was a lifetime member of Hadassah and a member of the Chicago Loop Synagogue. Final arrangements are held by Levitt-Weinstein. Services at Beth David Memorial Gardens, 3201 NW 72nd Ave., Hollywood, FL 33024, 954-963-2400, Sunday, June 5th at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Miami Jewish Health Systems in care of HCT 2nd Floor Special Care Unit Activities "Sofie Funtime Classes."
