McDONALD, FRANCES ENGLISH, 82, passed away on Sunday, December, 16, 2007, in Orlando, Florida. A long time resident of Coral Gables, FL and a seasonal resident of Blowing Rock, NC. Born January 1, 1925, in Merritt Island, FL, to Irene (Lockett) and Curtis English. Frances was preceded in death by her husband Frank H. McDonald, a prominent Miami businessman. She was a business woman until retirement 5 years ago. Frances attended Granada Presbyterian Church, Coral Gables and First Baptist Church, Blowing Rock, NC. She was a member of the Presidents Council, University of Florida. She was also a member of both the Riviera Country Club in Coral Gables and the Blowing Rock Country Club in North Carolina. She is survived by her three daughters Dorothy Vargo and husband Jim of Windermere, FL, Carolyn Pressley and husband Richard of Cary, NC, Elizabeth Kinsey and husband Tom of Gainesville, FL; two sisters Miriam Mabrey of Delray Beach, FL and Sarah Ziglar and husband Paul of Avon Park, FL; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother David English of Lecanto, FL. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery North at 1:00pm on Thursday, December 20, 2007, 4600 S.W. 8th Street, Coral Gables, Fl.
