Dear Gabe, Chris and the Corchiani Family. I am deeply sorry for the loss of Coach Corchiani. Even though I met him once during a friendly half-court game with Gabe Jr. and Chris, I could see the reason why his children and his players loved and respected him so much. Like John Wooden said:"A gentleman is one who considers the rights of others before his feelings, and the feelings of others before his rights." He was a true gentleman. May he rest in peace.

One of the highlights of summers

in Wildwood Crest at Tommy's Market was when the Corchiani's arrived for the summer.

Many fond memories will live on.

Mrs Corchiani, Gabe, Kathy and Chris,

Last week my son Jimmy told me of Gabe's illness. He had played golf with Gabe less than 6 or 7 months ago and was sick when he heard of the change of events. Gabe was a big influence on my son at HML.

It took Jimmy a long time to come around, but I know when Gabe saw him 6 or 7 months ago, he saw the person he knew Jimmy was. And we owe it all to people like Gabe and Jesus Christ who has saved Jimmy from himself.

Gabe and I were contemporaries many years ago and both from what he did at HML and with his family, God can surely say, job well done.

I know that your sadness today overwhelms your life. Nothing can ease that.

But I of course say thank you God, thank you for giving us the time we had with your magnificent servant, Gabe Corchiani .

I hope the good times will ameliorate your sadness today and that perpetual light will shine on the life and soul of Gabe.

Sincerely.

Bernie Butts Sr.
