VELAZQUEZ- BEATON, GUILLERMO M., (December 7, 1948 - January 5, 2007) Even though your life journey was tough, you always valiantly & triumphantly battled with your health. In spite of this somehow you managed to always give unselfishly of yourself & touch the life of everyone whose path you crossed whether you knew it or not. You left a radiant & inspiring life path behind you. Little did we know that afternoon God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. For part of us went with you the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories. Your love is still our guide. And though we cannot see you, You are always by our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. Although we are apart, your spirit lives within us forever in our heart. Pipo, I miss you. December 7th is always a day of happiness for your birthday and extreme sadness for me. You left to soon. I miss our conversations. I miss Key Biscayne, I miss hobbie beach and our rides in the mini cooper and going to all the shows . Even after Dyalisis , you managed to find the strength to go. You developed my ability to never give up. Never quit ! Your disease made me want to study endlessly! Everyday I practice medicine I do it in your name . God I miss you. I wish you were here.
