HERMAN ECHEVARRIA Obituary

ECHEVARRIA, HERMAN, The Mount Sinai Medical Center Family pays tribute to Herman Echevarria, a supporter of our hospital. A former member of our hospital's Board of Trustees, Mr. Echevarria and his wife, Alexia, are members of the Society of Mount Sinai. All of us at Mount Sinai extend our heartfelt condolences to Mr. Echevarria's family and his friends. He leaves a legacy of helping others through his kindness and generosity, and he will always have a special place in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Sad to see Herman passing away at at a young age. We had the priviledge of serving him and his family for many years in our restaurant. His class, elegance and personality will be missing. From te family of the Caffe Abbracci to the Echavarria Famiy.

Herman was a great friend, when I moved to Miami, nelson was one of my first friends. Herman treated me just like one of his sons, and always told me to work hard and you can be whatever you want in life. He always told me, in his strong Cuban accent "James Turner, your name sounds like a Politician" Herman will be greatly missed, my heart is with Nelson, Herman Jr, and Iliana, you guys will always be my family. Stay strong, and trust that god makes no mistakes, and though we will never understand the process, we must trust it.

Hialeah was his passion an advocate for the poor and needy, a true service Men to his community.
Someone who cared deeply about the working people of Hialeah.

A legacy hard to replace in a community that loved and respected his passion for service.
El Cubano que pudu vivir para Su pueblo, El Cubanito que salio del N.W. into Hialeah and became a Leader to be revered, the best of our community born and bread by the fist of perseverance, passion, raw talent, a Cuban American which was born to help 1000's upon thousands of life's and that he did sometimes very quitely without recognition.
