I sat four chairs away from Janice since she joined the Greater Miami Symphonic Band and I congratulated her the night of the tragic accident on her solo during rehearsal. Who would imagine that she was the victim. After two rehearsals and a concert I still find it hard to look in her direction knowing that she will not come back. She was a real class act and I know where she got it from! Me deepest sympathy to the entire family on this irreplaceable loss and may the beautiful sounds from her horn be putting smiles on the Angels in Heaven. Sincerely, Raul A. Vidal and family

Dorothy and Thomson Family,
My sincere condolences and healing thoughts to you all. I have never met Janice, but have been in touch over the past several months with her mom, Dorothy, about the genealogy we share. So, Janice is a cousin. I'm very sorry that I could not have met her. Much love to you all.

Janice, my sister and I played together as young children, and attended Coral Gables High School together. I was blessed to reconnect with her in recent years and share memories with her. She was an awesome and amazing woman, always growing and learning something new, while helping others and her community. The world won't be the same without her here to share her enthusiasm for life. My sincere condolences to her parents, children, husband and friends. Praying for healing and sending much love! ❤
