Dr. John E. "Jack" Hall

John Hall Obituary

HALL, DR. JOHN E. "JACK", 1925 - 2008. Jack passed away at his home on New Year's Eve. He spent more than three decades as a distinguished professor at the University of Miami working as an Anthropologist and Underwater Archaeologist. Jack was a WWII Veteran serving as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army. He jumped during D-Day at Normandy, and also fought at the infamous Battle at Bastogne. He was the recipient of both the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He is survived by his two sons, John E. Hall Jr. of Sarasota, FL., and Timothy J. Hall of San Diego, CA.
