To Ms. Cortel and family, I personally never met "Gramps", but from what I hear she is a blessed soul. May God bless you in this time of bereavement. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family.

Hello, Im 15 year old Louquavis Dyer and Julia Hanks is my great-grandmother. I came to sign her guestbook and pay my respects, show my love, and remorse to my family and great-grandmother. I want to thank everyone who came to show there love by just signing the guestbook. I want to let my family members know that I love them and everything will get better later. Even though it will never be the same with out gramps (Julia Hanks) smiling, singing, and rejoicing the lords name we will always keep her alive in our hearts, minds, and souls. Now I will like to finish this entry off with a prayer:
PSALM 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Amen.
Love You Gramps and Will Keep You In My Heart Forever

To my dearest "Gramps" you are greatly missed by all, I am grateful for the time God allowed us. I cherish the moments and the memories. However my most greatest treasure is the lessons you taught me about life. By this, I mean the most simplest of things such as washing clothes and cooking. "Gramps" you will be greatly missed. But your spirit will live on forever. The time God allowed us to share with you is priceless. Gone but certainly not forgotten. You have your robe and your crown. Peace out "Gramps" and thanks for everything. Your loving granddaughter, Bertha M. Dyer b.k.a "Puddin"
