To your family, dear Larry:
Your precious husband and father is busy doing in heaven what he did best on earth..... loving and caring for others, giving them comfort and peace. And putting a big smile on everyone´s faces.
It´s not the same without him. But, you´ll see him again

Dr Blacher was more than a cardiologist tho he had the biggest HEART of almost any person my husband Michael and I have known! He LISTENED not only to the beating organ inside you but to your concerns your agendas and wanted to share what was happening in your life! Up until our last visit ( a few months before he passed ) he was still coming to work . . . Putting in the effort . . . And doing everything humanly possible to make a difference! We could see he wasn´t well and I´m sure he was dealing with his own mortality but this man will be Immortalized and honored for a life well lived and we will never forget Dr. Lawrence Blacher . . . Every time we go to the office I see his name on the wall and I say a silent prayer of gratitude that he graced our lives. Patti & Michael Sacks

Sitting at Dr Blacher´s funeral with my husband was not only surreal because we couldn´t imagine this coming only for months after our last appointment where he as always took his time gave us answers and options , shared family stories and left us feeling he was not only the consummate professional but the upmost human being as well! I have rarely been to a funeral service where the clergy his magnificent family (I taught both Eric and Rebecca ) as well as his chosen family . . . His brother-in-law , sisters and son by Dolce spoke with such unparalleled love smiling thru their tears. . . Remembering a mench . . . A mentor . . . And a grandfather father brother and son and especially a husband who was more immersed and more involved and in love with his family! The Rabbi presented him in such a positive precious manner and she read a piece that I could totally say AMEN to! Thank you Larry . . . Your name will always be a blessing and we wish you a continuous of light and love on this next journey ( where you will probably be tending to and laughing with those souls lucky enough to be in your eternal presence! We can´t ask you to rest in peace because be know your already in full pleasure mode and uplifting those around you with your heart and ruach! We will remember you forever!

I was so sadend to hear Dr. Blacher had taken some time off, he never took time off! He is was the most compassionate person I know, always asked how "is your family" I never felt rushed is he office, "cold" but not rushed, he really understood and took the time to understand my medical issues. Listened to me - to my body - He is a ear sole which is trully missed! No words to say!

Dulce, what a horrible loss, we are shocked and saddened by the news of Dr. Blacher´s passing, you introduced us to your husband 20+ years ago (at the Post Office) when my husband needed a specialist due to his failing heart condition, Doc ended up saving my husbands life and for that I will forever be thankful. My sister and I were so saddened to hear about Dr. Blacher. He was my late husband's cardiologist. You will never find a more professional, compassionate and loving physician than Larry. He cared for his patients as if they were his family. When my sister needed a cardiologist you know who we went to.. Dr. B... not only was he a great physician, he was a great father. I remember when his daughter Rebecca was born.. after that he could tell you her age almost to the minute. He loved his family and especially Dulce. You were a gift to him. Dr. B may you rest in peace and have a great conversation with my husband Carl. You will be missed.

I want to express my condolences to Dulce and the whole family for the loss of this wonderful, kind and caring Doctor and friend. He took great care of my dear husband Walter Meyer since 1986. I watched the services on zoom and Eric, your father used to bring you to the hospital and introduce you to my husband as his "assistant in training" with a white coat and a stethoscope and asked Walter if it would be okay for Eric to listen to his heart and chest.
I think you Eric were about five or six. Walter loved it.
Larry also took care of myself when I developed cardiac issues until I moved to Weston.
Rebecca, he was so proud to tell me about climbing into your dollhouse with you and his eyes lit up like a light bulb when he talked about all his family - he was very proud of his whole family and I am very honored that he was in my family's life as our Doctor and friend.

Dr Blacher had been my Doctor for 16 years, and gave me the most excellent care a Dr. could give their patients. He has watched me grow up over the years, and because of his great care, I will continue to follow everything he has recommended for me to do in our past appointments. He was compassionate, patient , thorough, knowledgeable, and always knew the best expertise DR/spceialist if you needed one. He gave great advice too.

We are so saddened and shocked to hear the sad news of Larry's passing. Larry has been my doctor and friend for many years. He always greeted me with a big smile and a story about Dulce or the kids. As a doctor and friend, he was one in a million. His dedication and professionalism was always comforting. Whatever the issue was, he had the solution. His love for Dulce and their children, was always a topic of conversation, along with his talents on the tennis court. Dulce was our son's Pre-K teacher, and I was their daughter Rebecca's PreK teacher. Dulce has been a dear friend ever since. Their love for each other was evident to all who knew them. Larry's profession has lost a wonderful and caring ambassador. We all have lost a very admired friend and caring human being. May he rest in peace and know he will be missed. We send our heartfelt condolences and love to Dulce and their children. May the memories we have of Larry be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.

Like so very many people have commented, there was no better person, doctor and friend than Larry. He was kind and gentle and loving. He cared for his patience sincerely. Many is the time we would talk in the early evening and he was still at work. He was so very dedicated to his family and friends. Never was there a time that he rushed or lost his jovial smiling personality. He was loved by so many, probably everyone he touched. We will see today the hundreds that will turn out to pay a final love for this wonderful man. Dulce, you have our deepest sympathy and wish you and your family a recovery from this tragic loss way too soon. Love you.

Dr. Blacher was my cardiologist following my heart attack and angioplasty. He was kind, and listened and explained the importance of safe, moderate intensity exercise. My family and I are heartbroken! Dr. Blacher was my dad´s doctor for almost 40 years, and my mom´s for many years too. And in the recent years, my siblings and I also became his patients. Dr. Blacher was one of a kind! He was like a teddy bear! No matter how stressful or delicate the situation, his calm, funny, and loving demeanor, always brought us peace and hope! He always made sure to keep tabs on my dad and I often said, that thanks to Dr. Blacher, we are blessed to still have my dad with us! Just this past December, although he was not feeling well himself, when my dad ended up in the hospital with pneumonia, Dr. Blacher FaceTimed with me from home, so that he could see my dad, talk to him, and bring his spirits up! He was the best doctor we have ever met and we will miss him dearly! Dulce, our heartfelt condolences and love go out to you and all the family! May he rest in peace knowing how loved he was and how blessed we all are to have known him!

Deborah and I have been patients of Dr. Blacher's since 1992. He gave real meaning to the phrase Family Doctor! He was unlike any other specialist I have ever had. We would spend almost an hour talking about baseball and his kids. He was proud of them all of his Children and grandchildren and of course his wife Dulce. He was never in a hurry even though he was very busy. He wanted to help all his patients but unfortunately he could not save everyone. I only wish all physician's would take the time to learn more about their patients! He was a great human being and a great Cardiologist! Rich Green

Larry Blacher was a one in a-million health-care provider. One of best skills was being a great listener. His diagnostic skills were combined with his compassionate capacity to treat each patient as if you were a member of his own family. He had a wry sense of humor but persevered in a profession that has turned up the speed of patient treatment. He tried to buck the trend which meant that often, you had to wait over an hour to see him. Despite that, his patients knew that were getting the best care available.
He treated my mother (DOD 2003), my sister, my wife, and many of my closest friends.
My wife Barbara and I send our condolences to his family and friends.

My heart is heavy since hearing this sad news. Our paths crossed frequently over many years when he came to see patients in the emergency department at Baptist Hospital.
