My only regret is that our paths had not crossed earlier in our lives! Lee Simkins was a fantastic individual, I have never worked for a more compassionate and fair person. I want to send my condolences to the entire Simkins family.

Words cannot fully express the sorrow we feel over the loss of Leon. He was a wonderful and generous human being and touched the lives of many. He was an amazing person and family to us. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Simkins and his friend, Steve Gadon, for many years. Mr. Simkins remains perhaps the most focused businessperson I have ever known - once he had decided to pursue a deal, nothing was allowed to delay its completion. Apart from business, however, I was thrilled to see his name (along with other Simkins family members) as the donors for on a local building in Philadelphia of the Jewish Federation.

My wife and I were saddened to hear the passing of Leon. I worked for Simkins for over 40 years. He was instrumental in the advancement in my career and we will forever be grateful. RIP Lee.
