Louis Vann Obituary

VANN, LOUIS, July 19, 1921 - June 2, 2008, died from heart failure. Born in Bronx, NY, predeceased by daughter Sharyn Siskel of Los Angeles, survived by wife of 65 years, Pearl and twin sons Martin Vann and Steven Vann of Wellington, FL. Also survived by brother Benjamin (Pearl) Vann of NYC and nieces and nephews. Graduated City College of NY. Joined the service and awarded a Purple Heart in the European Theater, WWII, 3rd Army, 7th Infantry. Retired from FPL as a Systems Analyst after 40 years. Over 50 years as a member of the Coral Gables Country Club where he and his wife spent many joyous hours dining, dancing and performing in Little Theater, etc. Graveside services will be 11 AM Friday, June 6, 2008 at Mt.
