Dear Vidal Children,
I was your babysitter and lived with my parents next door. I loved your Mom. When I married and moved to Huntsville, AL your Mom wanted me to contact her cousin but I never got around to doing so. Tell Peter that my brother Beau died, they were friends. I am the only one left in my family. I still have my home in Huntsville and spend my winters at Sandhill Cove in Palm City, FL. My husband passed away last year.
With sympathy,good memories and love,
Grace Geraci Nola

I also have fond memories of Lucy during her years with the Department of Family Services. We worked together many years in the Miami program office where she taught me so much about the program. My condolences to the family and may she rest in peace.

I am saddened by the thought of Lucy's passing but reminded of fond memories at DFS. She was my first supervisor when I started working for the department 31 years ago. We shared rides many times through out the years when one of us was without a car. I feel like I know her children through the stories she used to tell. My condolences to all.

I remember Lucy when she was the only program specialist for the AFDC program in Miami. She was always helpful and really knew all of the policy and procedures. I spoke at her retirement party in 1988. Now there are 43 program specialists in Miami but none of them could have handled the workload Lucy handled. I have fond memories of her dedication and professionalism. May she rest in peace.
