Oh YoYo...how sad I am right now to hear about your passing on. You always understood and got my quirky sense of humor! I sent you a message on Facebook and never heard back from you. I had no idea you were no longer here...but I know your Spirit will always be with all of your friends and family. I remember your distinct laugh and special ability to tell humorous stories about real life scenarios. You are now a magnificent bright light in the Heavens with our Lord and Christ who loves us much more than we could ever imagine. God bless your loving, humorous, empathetic Soul. I am completely beside myself and saddened at learning the news of YoYo's passing. I met him in Tallahassee when he was in law school. Bright, witty, smiling, helpful, easy going, a great conversationalist. A truly wonderful spirit. I will continue to pray for his family and friends.

Reading all the entries in this guest book makes me feel all the love out there for Yoyo. I was very moved by Kyle Redfearn's words about Yoyo "...what a great person he was in every way that counts in this world. He was genuine and down to earth. He never hesitated to tell you how he saw things, which made his input invaluable. He could always be counted on to "have your back" if you were lucky enough to be considered his friend. He had a great sense of humor. He was a great man."

Back in the late 1980's, Yoyo was my first pledge son at our college fraternity. I "picked" him from the plege class because he was the one guy in the group that was always smiling, always in a good mood. In fact, I remember some of the brothers getting a little testy during pledge week when we were putting everyone through the paces and Yoyo kept smiling, no matter what he was faced with. Every memory I have of Yoyo is of him in a good mood, smiling and enjoying life. My prayers go out to all of you. I am certain he is still smiling down on all of us.

The Espinos have always been an integral part of the Salazar family. I'll always remember Yoyo's way of laughing, his sense of humor and his bond with my brother Eddy. I met and worked with Luis when he was a law clerk and young associate. He was so bright, kind and funny, it was a pleasure to work with him. When I ran into him a couple years ago, he told me about his wife and kids. He was so happy. My heart goes out to you for your loss.

I met and became friends with Yoyo in law school in 1991 and quickly found out what a great person he was in every way that counts in this world. He was genuine and down to earth. He never hesitated to tell you how he saw things, which made his input invaluable. He could always be counted on to "have your back" if you were lucky enough to be considered his friend. He had a great sense of humor. He was a great man. Although we didn't keep up very well after law school, I know that he made a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him, as he did on me, as he will in heaven. Yoyo, it was an honor to be your friend. Your time came way too soon, and you will be sorely, sorely missed. May God be with the family during this difficult time.

Over the past year I worked with Luis in Mary Esther, FL. He brought an easy smile with him even though he was away from you, his family. He always spoke highly about his family with a twinkle in his eye and a bigger smile than his usual. Thank you for sharing him with us-he made our lives better with his knowledge, expertise and always asking "Do you need anything today?". I was shocked and saddened to hear of Luis' passing. I knew Yoyo from law school. We clerked together and right after law school (when I lived in Miami) we would often get together with law school friends. Yoyo was always so funny and such a dear friend. I was sorry we lost touch but heard all about his beautiful family from mutual friends. I'm so so sorry for your loss. I hope wonderful memories help ease your grief in this very sad time.
