To Roger and the kids,
I was so sorry to hear of Marlene's passing. I saw her in Jo Ann's about a month ago and she was just beginning to shop and I was getting off. I just had time to say hi but I regret not slowing down and having our usual lengthy discussion about "things". I have known Marlene a LONG time, way back in the Bucyrus Blades days when she worked with my mom. So to say that this is a sad time for me too is an understatement. Just know that you all have my love and support during these sad times.
Sincerely,
Julie Light-Copper

Roger, I was sorry to hear of Marlene's passing. You and Marlene were always a part of our memories of Bucyrus. As I read the condolences it seems as if she was a very busy lady. I know all who knew her will miss her.

Dear family,

Losing Marlene is a huge loss for all who knew her. I met her many years ago in Altrusa and since then seeing her anywhere reminded me how very much I missed seeing her.
She had done a woodcarving of myself and my beautiful little pony Zach from a newspaper photo of us driving in the Christmas parade. You have no idea how much I treasure this carving. I keep it in a very safe place on display. I hope that someday, someone will cherish this carving as much as I have. I made sure to remind her how much I loved the carving whenever I saw her.
Marlene has left behind a lot of herself and for all of us that is a very good thing.

My deeepest sympathy to you all,

Sincerely, Gerri Scarbro

I am so sadden by the passing of Mrs. Sturgeon, this is what I called her and always did, because it shows respect. Mrs. Sturgeon loved coming into my fathers restaurant and ordering a steak well done, burnt. My father used to take it to her table with a napkin over the plate so no one saw it. She was a wonderful, happy, person. So close to her husband Roger, I am so sorry for Roger and my prayers and thoughts are with you.

I'm very saddened to see Marlene's passing from this life to the next. I have been very good friends with her son Jeff and her husband Roger for the better part of my life and my prayers and thoughts are with them and their families. Jeff, you were there at my fathers gravesite and it meant a lot to see you there knowing you were there to support me. I only wish I could be there for you now but I just cannot make it. My prayers for you, Gina, Roger and your families.
