Marta Lopez Fitzgerald

FITZGERALD, MARTA LOPEZ, 83, died on December 30th 2004, She was a resident of Hillsborough Beach, FL. The youngest daughter of Pedro A and Mercedes Lopez, she was born in Havana, Cuba in 1922. Widow of John Henry Fitzgerald. She attended the University of Havana and graduated from the University of Miami. She immigrated to the United States in 1960. She worked as a teacher in the Dade County Public Schools at both Miami Springs HS, North Miami Beach HS and N Miami Beach middle school. She retired in 1988. She was a voter volunteer and a member of the Republican party. She is survived by her sons John H of Washington DC, Richard and his wife Verne of Coral Springs and Michael of Ft. Lauderdale and 2 grandchildren: Michelle Golubov of Highland Beach and Richard Fitzgerald of Pompano Beach and one great grandson, Nicholas Fitzgerald Golubov. Family will receive friends at Caballero Rivero Funeral Home at 8200 SW 40th Street Sunday 1/2 from 5 PM-8 PM.
