Not a day goes by when I don't think of. Dear Michael. His short life had such impact on so many. He was a fine young man with such a bright future, taking way too soon. I love and miss you, Michael, my other son.

I think of Michael often. In some ways he was like another son to me. He helped our family through a critical time, and then turned around and faced his own with Grace and strength. I will forever hold a special place in my heart for Michael. I even dedicated my last book to him and another dear friend of the family who we lost way too soon.

Michael was a charming young man. I had the pleasure of teaching him at Stranahan High. Michael was incredibly bright and thoughtful. I remember Michael always participating in charity events. You will be missed.

Our hearts break for your loss. It is so sad that this cruel disease takes such wonderful people. Though we did not know Michael directly, we have read about him enough to know he was a very loving and positive person who will be sorely missed by all he touched. I worked with Mike at UF Hillel when he was a student there. Always with a smile and willingness to help out and get involved. I did not stay in touch with him after I left but we reconnected years later when I learned of his diagnosis. He told me he was doing ok and was pursuing his dream of being a doctor. I know he would have been excellent because he would have given his all. He is already missed by so many. May his memories bring all of us comfort at this time.

Stacey and I and our whole Family are devastated to hear this news. Please accept our dearest condolences to EVERYONE. There are no words that I can say to take the pain away.
