BROAD, MORRIS, The Mount Sinai Medical Center Family pays tribute to Morris Broad, a dedicated supporter who generously shared his time, talent and resources with our hospital. Mr. Broad joined the Mount Sinai Medical Center Board of Trustees in 1975 and, because of his diligent service, was elevated to Life Member in 1992. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Broad wholeheartedly embraced his responsibilities by offering his insight and expertise as a member of the board's Corporate and Business Affairs, Facility Planning and Corporate Affairs, and Finance committees. As a philanthropic supporter, Mr. Broad and his wife, Anita, joined the Founders of Mount Sinai, our hospital's most time-honored fundraising organization. His family's legacy of support includes his parents, the late Shepard and Ruth Broad, who were Fellows in the Society of Mount Sinai and members of the Founders Club, and his sister, Ann Broad Bussel, a member of the Ambassadors of the Wien Center for Alzheimer's Disease and Memory Disorders. In addition, Mr. Broad's nephew, John Bussel, is a member of the Founders of Mount Sinai and the Young Presidents Club. All of us at Mount Sinai extend our heartfelt condolences to Mr. Broad's wife, Anita, and their son, Anthony, along with their family and friends. He leaves a legacy of helping others through his kindness and generosity, and he will always have a special place in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
