Natasha Hefty Obituary

HEFTY, Natasha, 85, passed away peacefully February 11, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Born February 23, 1927 in Oropos, Greece to George and Kyra Nariznis, Natasha grew-up in Athens. Natasha left Greece in 1946 to marry Steve Anastasi in Nassau, Bahamas after which they relocated to New York. Natasha and Steve had two children, Maryann and Nicholas. She married Caspar Hefty Jr. in 1956 in Miami. Natasha and Caspar had three children, George, Lee, and John. Natasha was a loving mother adored by her children, grandchildren, and many nieces and *nephews. She was a cherished friend to all who knew her. Her welcome smile always provided comfort to others. Natasha will be remembered by her grace and the caring she showed to all. Natasha is preceded in death by her two brothers, Nicolas and Christian. She is survived by her five children, twelve grand-children, ten great-grand-children, and four great great-grandchildren. She will be missed and will always remain a guiding strength to us; her sweet voice will ring in our ears forever. Viewing will be held Thursday February 14, 2013 6:009:00 PM at Caballero-Rivero-Woodlawn South Funeral Home,11655 SW 117th Avenue, Miami, FL, Trisagion Service begins at 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at Saint Andrews Greek Orthodox Church, 7901 S.W. 88th Street, Miami, FL, February 15, 2013 at 10:00 AM followed by a procession to Caballero-Rivero-Woodlawn South Funeral Home, and Cemetery,11655 SW 117th Avenue, Miami, FL for interment.
