Pauline Steadman Obituary

STEADMAN, PAULINE. The Mount Sinai Medical Center Family pays tribute to Pauline Steadman, a dedicated supporter of our hospital. Mrs. Steadman was a member of the Founders of Mount Sinai, our Foundation's most time-honored fundraising organization. Her late aunt and uncle, Polly and Baron de Hirsch Meyer, also were Founders and they were Doctors of Philanthropy in the Society of Mount Sinai, which represents the highest level of giving within our Foundation. Mr. de Hirsch Meyer was a founding member of the Mount Sinai Medical Center Board of Trustees, a two-term hospital president, and a Life Trustee. Mrs. de Hirsch Meyer was a Life Trustee as well. All of us at Mount Sinai extend our heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Steadman's family and her friends. She leaves a legacy of helping others through her kindness and generosity, and she will always have a special place in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
