Thomas Steadman Obituary
Grave side services and burial with Military Honors will be held in Oaklawn Cemetery on Tuesday March 24, 2026 at 11 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to; Finger Lakes SPCA of CNY
Tom was born on October 9, 1941 in Geneva the son of the late Francis and Beverly (Miller) Steadman. He graduated from Geneva High School and served in the US Navy from 1959 to 1965.
Tom retired after working 32 years from International Paper Co. in Geneva.
Tom enjoyed bowling, playing golf and hunting and watching the horse races at his favorite place the Finger Lakes gaming and Race Track. Tom enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was a great man and is missed dearly.
He is survived by his long time partner Joyce Tandle of Seneca Falls; son, Jeffrey (Holly ) Steadman of New Jersey, son Tommy Steadman of Geneva and step-daughter, Laurie (Dan) Margeson of Seneca Falls; grandchildren, Zophia (John) Parker , Zach Steadman; step grandson Daniel (Lindsey) Margeson of Waterloo; one great granddaughter on the way; two step great grandchildren, Mya Carter and Parker Margeson; sisters, Virginia (Claude) Bounds of Rushville, Cynthia Steadman of Arizona; sister-in-law Josephine Steadman of Geneva; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tom was predeceased by his parents Francis and Beverly; son Robert Steadman; brother, Ronald Steadman, and step granddaughter Brianne Margeson Carter.
