Rafael became ill shortly after I met his wife Monica. Monica is a special person and she can lean on us. I know Monica will be a strong woman for herself and her son and we will all heal together. So sorry for your lose, I know your love for Rafeal was deep.

Rafael fue un hombre por el que siempre sentí un gran respeto como profesional y como persona y será recordado por los mejores y más grandes momentos que a su alrededor tuvieron todos los que compartimos profesional y personalmente con el.
Rafael era una personalidad genial, un gran impulsor y pionero de las tecnologías digitales de animación y edición de vídeo, de las cuales tenía un gran conocimiento y que sometía con habilidad.
Rafael influenció positivamente en la vida de muchos de los que le conocimos. Gracias por eso!

Rafa, que vacio dejas en mi vida, en mi familia, en la tuya y entre tantos amigos. Tus llamadas telefonicas diarias, los SMS, emails, las miles de horas, dias, meses, años que pasamos o compartimos juntos, que ni la distancia entre la costa oeste y la este nunca limitó. Tus anécdotas, todo lo que te pasaba, pensabas, tus proyectos, tus sueños... toda tu vida desde Bejucal hasta Miami, te conocí a principios del 1970, fueron 40 años... coño! las veces que me dijistes que yo era el hermano, que nunca tus padres te dieron... no va ser fácil... superar este vacio. Tu hermano (como tu mismo me bautizastes) "LoLo Becho"

Rafael was a wonderful person and someone I will always recall with fond memories. Many know his technical genius, but his marvelous perceptive personality is what stands out for me. He had a wit and a deep understanding of human nature that far exceeded his amazing ability with circuits and hard drives.
