Barbara, I just found out about your loss, I can´t tell you how sorry I am. I think about you and your family often and how grateful I am that I worked for such a great company! Flora told me that you are handling everything well and I know you are strong but you will stay in my prayers. Give my regards to your mom. God bless you and your family. Sincerely, Idola

We were greatly saddened to learn of the sudden loss of Richard. He was married to my sister Beverly in a previous life, and I knew him well. He always had time for me to have interesting conversations and always showed his amazing intelligence and quick witted humor. They opened their home to me for a summer during my training and I looked forward to his coming home each evening. That was a great summer. In recent years Richard and Barbara invited us to their home for a couple of family events and I still felt a strong connection with him. Family is something Richard believed in. This will continue I am sure for us with his son Jonathan and his family.
The day our daughter Lauren was born in 1986 Richard was out of town. He arrived in Miami late that evening and instead of going home he made a visit to Mount Sinai Hospital to meet his newborn niece. Richard gave Lauren her first baby doll which she still has today.
He was loved and will be greatly missed.

My heart is broken for all who loved Richard, especially for his beautiful family. It was my privilege and honor to support Richard as his assistant for 26 years. In our later years I called him "Boss" -- it was a term of endearment for an individual who always treated me with respect, appreciation and care. Everyone should be so blessed to know such a decent and admirable human being, at least once in their lives. My life is so much richer because he was in it and I am grateful that I could be a witness to his character. I will remember him with fondness and sincere love for his family. Rest in peace dear Boss.
