To the entire McEwen Family,
My most sincere thoughts and prayers are with you.Mr. (Dick) McEwen was a great mentor to me when I was at Burdines. His door was always open and our friendship and his mentoring went on long after including when I started my own business and he explained the "ropes" in Miami, sponsored me as a Trustee at The Miami Chamber of Commerce and was always there when a difficult decision or plain common sense or a set of fresh eyes were needed. I will miss our 38 year relationship and will always respect him for being "way before his time" on womens rights and respect for everyone. Always extended a hand of friendship and advice when asked. I will miss him as will the thousands of lives he touched.
