Robert J. McDougal

McDOUGAL ROBERT J., 82, a resident of Miami, FL, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2003. Born in Oconto, Wisconsin, he came to Miami over 60 years ago to play football for the University of Miami. After graduating from the U of M with a degree in Business he played Professional Football with the Green Bay Packers. A WW II veteran, Mr. McDougal served with the Sixth Marine Reconnaissance Company. Robert retired from State Farm Insurance Company after 40 years as an agent. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, University of Miami Alumni Gridders, National Football League Alumni, Coral Gables Elks, Coral Gables Country Club and Epiphany Church. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Eileen, three children Bob, Ed, Tom, five grandchildren, one sister Jeanne Finger and one brother Tom. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, August 14 at the Church of the Epiphany, 8235 SW 57th Ave. Donations may be made to the Epiphany Church and the Leukemia Society of America.
