The Villages, Florida - Roberta "Bobbi" Stein passed away on August 17, 2021. When she was 15 her family moved from Monticello, NY to Miami, FL where she resided for 52 years until her retirement to The Villages, FL in 2007. She was an artist, educator and explorer who was most recognized as the co-art teacher at Temple Beth Am Day School for 25 years.
She is survived by children Jodi and Evan, and sisters Toby (Beau) Cantrell and Lila Nikla. Bobbi is preceded in death by her husband Harvey, life partner Dr. Stanley Holzberg, brother in law Gerard Nikla and brother and sister in law Millard and Elaine Stein. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 22nd 2021 at 10:00 am at Lakeside Memorial Park in Miami, Florida. Donations in her remembrance can be made to Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation (5985 Silver Falls Run Suite #210 Lakewood Ranch, FL 38211) and Temple Shalom of Central Florida (13563 CR 101 Oxford, FL 34484). Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home of Lady Lake, Florida. Online remembrances may made at www.beyersfuneralhome.com.

How lucky we were to know Bobbi!
Our deepest sympathy to Jody and Evan, beloved sisters and extended family. Sorry we will not be attending the funeral as we now live in Winter Park.
