I heard of Judge Roger Silver's passing recently, He was a really fine Judge and a really nice man. I knew him from back in the day when he was a General Master in the Family Division and then followed his career after that. His family should know that he was greatly respected and admired in the legal community. God bless him and his family.

I feel honored to have known Judge Silver and blessed to have been his court clerk for over 14 years. His knowledge of the law, patience and kindness towards everyone did not go unnoticed. Even till today attorneys´ say to me "You had the best staff and a great Judge".
The many lunches we spent talking and laughing will not be forgotten. When you officiated my marriage 32 years ago and Patty´s 6 years ago will not be forgotten. The many fond memories of you will not be forgotten.
Sending healing prayers to Ester and children.

I met Judge Silver in 1987in the courthouse when he was a General Master. At the time I was a Court Security Specialist. I was present for any hearings that involved cases concerning Domestic Violence and was present for many of those hearing in front of Judge Silver. In 1991 Judge Silver was assigned to preside over cases in the first Family Court Pilot Program. I worked as a Bailiff for him during the period of the program. Judge Silver was appointed to the Circuit Court in 2006 and was assigned to the Juvenile Division.I was fortunate once again to become his Bailiff. It was an absolute awesome honor privilege and Blessing to have known and worked for Judge Silver for so many years. And most important of all a true friend. I will always treasure that above everything else. He was a great man, a kind man and a Brilliant Judge. It was a great Blessing for me to have known him and have his Friendship. I will always cherish the memories. I pray that God continues to Bless his family with strength and peace in their time of loss. Judge you will be missed.

We lost a beautiful soul and heaven has an angel. I had the honor of working with Judge Roger A. Silver, as his court clerk and then his Judicial Assistant for 15 years along with Wayne Fischer, bailiff, and Chris Gonzalez, court clerk and Cliff Thompson, bailiff. Judge Silver, not only, was a pleasure to work for, but our office was full of laughter. He was always pleasant and respectful to everyone, and it was important to him, as a Judge, to always be fair. Chris, 32 years ago and I, 6 years ago, were graced to have Judge Silver officiate both of our marriages. My prayers and condolences to his wife, Esther, and his 5 children and all of his family. Your honor, your presence will be truly missed.

I knew Judge Silver when he was a General Master. He ruled in a decent, fair and honorable manner. He acquired my greatest respect as an adjudicator.

My cherished brother, your radiant spirit and boundless compassion touched every soul you met. A beacon of wisdom and courage, you led with a heart full of love, guiding me along life´s truest paths. Our bond remains an eternal flame in my heart. As I once sat in the back of our father´s courtroom, I later watched you, a judge like him, embody fairness, dignity, and grace in every ruling. Your words carried the same compassion and resolve, a true reflection of our father´s legacy. Like father, like son, you both upheld justice with unwavering honor. Rest in eternal peace, beloved, forever cherished and never forgotten. Go with God.

Judge Sliver was the judge I tried my first jury trial as a solo first chair. He was a true referee who did not interfere with either sides presentation of their cases. He had a true impartial perspective. Most appreciated was his professionalism and respect to the attorneys who appeared before him. There are a handful of judges who stick out to me and he is one of them. I only knew him professionally, but I expect he was a sweet and caring man in his personal life. My condolences to his family and friends.
