How lucky we were to have him as a pole vault and football coach. It was always a pleasure running into him now and again to talk about things. Lots of fond memories. Cya round Coach.

I still remember the times when you and I would challenge one another climbing that 20-foot rope on Miami Edison High School's athletic field.

Never met a kinder man. To have been in his company is to have known great laughter and joy. The childhood cookouts at the Lester´s with the coolest backyard forts and toys, all designed by Ron, and yes, the corniest jokes (that you absolutely better laugh at!) are such treasured memories. Barb, thinking of you and the kids. Lifting you up in prayer and asking God to give you peace and comfort. Much love & hugs, Mallory & Zachary

Ronald was a lovely, lively soul. A good man, and a great father and husband and brother and friend. He will be missed terribly by loved ones. My hope is that he is up there somewhere enjoying a game of cribbage with my own father. The two men never met, but they are cut from the same cloth. I think they would´ve enjoyed each other´s company very much. I will miss you, Ronald. Love, Nantsy.
