Saige Raiche Obituary

RAICHE Saige Marie Raiche March 9, 2006-Feb. 9, 2016. God called a beautiful young soul to be one of his angels on Feb. 9, 2016, suddenly and unexpectedly. Just shy of her 10th birthday, Saige was already making her mark on the world, bridging friends and family, mastering her gift of artistry through painting, and sharing her engaging smile, which lit up rooms. Saige was a fourth grader at Ocean Studies Charter School in Tavernier, who recently earned an award in the school's science fair. Saige leaves behind her grieving parents, Jonathan and Renee, and adoring little brother Cylas, as well as paternal grandparents Mark and Sandra Raiche; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Peggy Hammond, and Claude and Doris Bouthillier; and godparents Curtis Romboli and Tasha Franklin. In addition, Saige leaves countless family and friends both in the Upper Keys community and around the country. Services were held this past weekend. Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven."

Last week was the first day I thought of you with only joy in my heart. Browsing an Art Gallery I was reminded of your drawings, paintings creations and then I saw a butterfly outside the window

I smiled and said "Hey it's Saige"

And I was happy not sad at all- and I thought of all the people in the world that love you
