Sam:
3 years and I still remember your jokes. RIP-you were a great friend.

I just learned that Sam passed away. From Covid of all things. How cruel an end for such a good man.
Sam was as soft as butter, kind, considerate, unpretentious, philosophical, and smart as a whip. He had such a wonderful outlook on life. I really cannot conjure up enough superlatives to describe what a fine human being he was.
I ate lunch with Sam at the Di Lido in Miami Beach every weekday for 8 months in 1979-1980. He always ordered the same thing. I came to understand that it was an obvious trait for someone who was as steady as a rock.
Above all, though, he always spoke so lovingly about Sharon.
I never met anyone who had anything but admiration for Sam as a person and as an attorney. I've never met anyone like him to this day, and will never forget him.
Rest In Peace, Sam.

Dear Family and Friends of Sam Simon
I practiced law with Sam over the years. It was a pleasure. He had a unique sense of humor and always put "people" first. I never heard a bad word said about him.
Please accept my condolences. He will be missed.

I litigated several cases against Sam and he was one of the last true gentleman lawyers.

I've been friends with Sam since our law school days in Boston when we were next door neighbors in a quaint apartment building in Brighton, MA. We never stopped talking over the next 45 years. Always visited when I was in South Florida and likewise when he was in DC. We talked law, discussed cases, helped me out on some PI cases and I returned the favor in my specialty area of law. But mostly we told jokes. We always had this in common; a great sense of humor and never forgetting a good joke. We were both from NY, both of the Jewish faith and we could just make each other laugh. I will miss him terribly and wish we could have spent more time together over the years. Sam, rest in peace.

My name is Elliot Zolot. Sam and my brother Lawrence were friends since they worked together, must be over 40 years ago, at Cohen and Cohen Law. Sam and Sharon, of all my brother’s friends, reached out to me.
We broke bread together once or twice. When my brother told me of Sam’s passing from this insidious COVID I got really angry through the tears, because as you his family know he was one of the best, sweetest, funniest good human beings in this life.
Rest In Peace Sam Simon!!

As was said repeatedly, Sam was one of a kind, the smartest person I ever met with a remarkable memory of things that happened 55 years previously and were seemingly(to me) inconsequential. He was a terrific joke teller and the time spent with Sam flew by. I’m really glad that in the last 10 years, I’d managed to see him at least once a year. Ironically, on the day of his death I received a belated birthday gift (mailed well in advance) a biography of Elgin Baylor, the Lakers great. Sam, I and many, many others will miss you. RIP

Sam was a wonderful human being. He had a great wit, an encyclopedic memory, honesty, and empathy for others. I have always cherished the times we shared when, many years ago, we were both at a restart point in our lives. I can still recall his voice and laughter.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Kim just called me about Sam's passing. Although I have not been in close touch in recent years I know that Kim and Sabrina have stayed connected.
I remember Sam fondly. My thoughts are with you all during this very sad time. Takes me back to BarB Ranch days and much more carefree days!
I know Kim is in touch with Sabrina, but she also wanted to join me in sending our sincere condolences to all of the family. I am sorry for such an untimely loss of a person who is so important to so many.
With sadness for your loss,
Marsha and Kim Kallstrom
