Seth Parker Joseph

Seth Parker Joseph, 63, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Baptist Health South Florida after a courageous fight against cancer. He is survived by his sons, Brent Joseph and Ryan Joseph; his daughters Lauren Wilson and Hannah Joseph; his five grandchildren; his sister, Bonnie Clark; and his many close friends and colleagues. He is predeceased by his parents, Milton and Jeannie Joseph. Born in New York City, Seth attended Hofstra University and ultimately went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from the University of Miami School of Law. Seth was a wonderful father and good friend to all. Beyond his family and friends, his joy in life was his work, which he excelled at for just under 40 years. Starting as a young associate at Greenberg Traurig and ending as a shareholder for Carlton Fields, he was an innovative thinker, pushing himself to new work in various fields such as: aviation, fiber optics, and warranty insurance policies. Seth represented public and private companies, entrepreneurs, insurance companies and many other businesses. He was a fierce advocate and intense negotiator. His clients not only appreciated his extensive legal knowledge, but his ability to quickly and fully comprehend their businesses. His colleagues were impressed with his ability to quickly dissect complex legal issues and develop comprehensive resolutions to address them. Seth was well-respected among his partners, clients, and counterparts. A service celebrating his life will be held at a future date.
