Steven Selden Obituary

SELDEN, STEVEN TRENT, 48, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 after a 23-year struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. A native of Miami, Florida, he was born August 24, 1959 to Alexandra von der Marwitz Selden and the late Edward Selden. Trent was a devoted husband to his wife Peggy of 22 years, dedicated father to his sons Trevor (15) and Travis (7), and loving brother to his sister Beverly. He served our country in the United States Navy and later worked as a customer sales representative for Ryder Corporation. He enjoyed music and going to rock concerts. He liked watching sports and was an avid Miami Dolphin fan. His family described him as a devoted father, a very supportive listener who loved social gatherings and BBQs with family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, Southeast Regional Office, 706 Haddonfield Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002. Peggy, It's been a privilege to call you FRIEND since elementary school. The years we knew Trent were ones of a learning experience for us and we are so very grateful that he touched our lives so very deeply, yet in such a short time. We love him and always will. The service was beautiful and we are glad we were able to be there in the celebration of Trent's extraordinary life. What a wonderful guy! He will always be in our memories.

Dear Ms. Selden,
You helped my late parents, Sol and Hilda Fox, many years ago. As a youngster, I remember going to your home and meeting Trent. I was deeply saddened to read of his passing. I hope that his memory will be a blessing to you always and that you will have the strength and support of loving family at this most difficult time.
Sincerely,
Barbara Fox Falcon
